Electrical Superintendent, Onsite Safety & Field Leadership
Overview
Oversee on site electrical work across multiple projects ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. Lead safety programs, coordinate with subcontractors, and manage field operations to meet client and regulatory requirements. Drive pre task planning, inspections, and documentation while mentoring foremen and coordinating with project leadership. Differentiate through hands on safety leadership and strong field coordination.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead on site safety meetings and enforce procedures to achieve zero injuries
- 2Coordinate inspections with national and local jurisdictions and ensure OSHA compliance
- 3Manage scheduling of subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to meet project milestones
- 4Review and maintain pre task plans, job hazard analyses, and toolbox talks
- 5Maintain daily job logs, timekeeping, and project files with accurate documentation
- 6Oversee quality control and ensure subcontractors meet contracted scope and standards
- 7Plan and monitor equipment and material needs including procurement and deliveries
- 8Mentor foremen and coordinate with project leadership to optimize site efficiency
- 9Ensure access control, security measures, and site safety signage are in place
- 10Open and close the jobsite daily and maintain organized, clean work areas
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent with 7 years of skilled electrical experience
- 2Favorable driver’s license
- 3Ability to obtain OSHA 30 certification
- 4Blueprint reading and strong math skills
- 5Proficiency with electrical tools and basic power/hand tools
- 6Knowledge of federal, state, local codes and regulations
- 7Ability to work independently and lead teams in multiple sites
- 8Background check and drug/alcohol testing clearance
- 9Experience with planning, budgets, bids, and subcontracts
- 10Excellent interpersonal communication and mentoring abilities
