Overview
You will own precision cutting and quality control for high-end luxury textiles, ensuring each order meets premium standards before shipment. What You'll Do6
- 1Measure and cut luxury fabric rolls with precision, following customer order tickets to exact specifications.
- 2Inspect textiles for flaws, stains, color variations, or weaving defects before cutting, flagging any issues.
- 3Update digital inventory systems such as Infor to track stock levels and material usage accurately.
- 4Pack, label, and secure finished cut orders for daily outgoing shipment, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- 5Perform basic equipment setup, alignment checks, and routine safety inspections on cutting tools.
- 6Keep the cutting station clean, organized, and free of hazardous debris to maintain a safe work area.
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or GED required.
- 21-2 years of experience in fabric cutting, textile manufacturing, or warehouse fulfillment preferred.
- 3Strong basic math skills and proficiency reading a tape measure down to fractions of an inch.
- 4Basic computer literacy with ability to learn internal inventory management software like Infor.
- 5Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for an 8-hour shift.
- 6Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver fabric rolls weighing up to 50 pounds frequently.
- 7Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for operating cutting tools.
