What You'll Do7
- 1Operate various sewing machines including industrial sewing machines and serging equipment to assemble fabric products with precision and efficiency
- 2Measure fabrics and materials accurately using measuring instruments to ensure proper dimensions and fit
- 3Construct seams hems and various other items to detailed specifications
- 4Handle materials carefully including fabric cutting manual and machine to maintain quality and reduce waste
- 5Follow safety standards in production environments to ensure a safe workspace for all team members
- 6Conduct dimensional measurements and quality checks throughout the sewing process to meet strict quality standards
- 7Collaborate with team members on seam construction projects to achieve consistent results
Requirements5
- 1Proven experience operating sewing machines including industrial sewing machines and serging equipment
- 2Strong knowledge of fabric materials used in upholstery and decorative textiles
- 3Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality standards in production environments
- 4Experience with manual and machine fabric cutting and materials handling techniques
- 5Understanding of safety standards in manufacturing settings to maintain a secure work environment
