What You'll Do11

  • 6Operates and drives the ambulance safely following company guidelines
  • 7Follows FCC regulations during electronic communications
  • 8Attends mandatory meetings and completes station duties
  • 9Orders supplies from Central Supply to replenish inventories
  • 10Completes cleaning and maintenance tasks for the ambulance and station
  • 11Precepts new employees or EMR students as directed

Requirements8

  • 1High School Diploma or GED with state EMR certification
  • 2Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
  • 3Valid Louisiana Class D driver's license
  • 4Ability to read write and communicate professionally
  • 5Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • 6Knowledge of company protocols safety policies and operational procedures
  • 7Experience driving large vehicles in normal and adverse conditions
