Electronic Manufacturing Technician, Electronics Assembly
Overview
You will perform precision assembly, inspection, machine operation, and testing for advanced electronic and electro-mechanical products in a clean, climate-controlled production environment. Joining a team-oriented manufacturing program, you will work with micro-electronics, glass parts, and automated equipment. What You'll Do10
- 1Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical components using detailed work instructions and blueprints.
- 2Use hand tools, microscopes, spot welders, and automated manufacturing equipment to assemble small precision parts.
- 3Set up and operate production equipment, performing minor preventive maintenance as needed.
- 4Perform wiring, component installation, cable harnessing, and hand assembly operations.
- 5Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are met.
- 6Identify and document non-conforming materials and assist with corrective actions.
- 7Enter production, inventory, and quality data into computer systems.
- 8Read and interpret work instructions, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
- 9Meet daily production goals while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- 10Maintain a clean and organized work area following all safety and quality procedures.
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or GED required.
- 20-3 years of manufacturing, production, assembly, or electronics experience preferred.
- 3Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry.
- 4Ability to read and follow written work instructions and blueprints.
- 5Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- 6Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- 7Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 8Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to read and write English clearly.
- 9Preferred: Experience with electronics manufacturing or electro-mechanical assembly.
- 10Preferred: Experience with microscopes or small electronic components, and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles.
