Cleanroom Manufacturing Technician, Electronics Assembly
Overview
You will build high-quality electronic products in a ISO 9001 certified cleanroom, owning contamination control and assembly precision. You join a team of 15 technicians reporting to a shift lead, with 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience. You will read SOPs, operate air tools, and pass final inspections on every unit. This role offers direct contribution to advanced technology products with a stable 1st shift schedule.
What You'll Do9
- 1Assemble electronic components in a Class 1000 cleanroom, following SOPs and contamination protocols.
- 2Operate air tools and precision equipment to build subassemblies, verifying torque specs.
- 3Inspect in-process and finished units against IPC-A-610 standards, flagging defects.
- 4Read Work Orders and Manufacturing Work Instructions to execute each production step.
- 5Maintain cleanroom logs and production records, capturing batch numbers and yields.
- 6Clean and calibrate assembly tools daily, reporting any wear or malfunction.
- 7Troubleshoot basic assembly defects, adjusting parameters within spec.
- 8Train new technicians on SOPs and safety protocols, reducing onboarding ramp.
- 9Support line changeovers between product families, reconfiguring workstations.
Requirements8
- 13+ years in cleanroom or electronics manufacturing assembly.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3Proven skill reading SOPs, blueprints, and technical docs.
- 4Hands-on experience with air tools and precision measuring instruments.
- 5Strong attention to detail with zero-tolerance for contamination.
- 6Ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift 50 lbs.
- 7Basic math and computer literacy for production logs.
- 8English fluency for safety and quality communication.
