What You'll Do8

  • 1Build and analyze spacecraft power avionics, batteries, and solar arrays to meet performance targets
  • 2Lead and participate in design reviews and major customer meetings with technical materials
  • 3Architect electrical power subsystem concepts and perform voltage drop, energy balance, fuse sizing and transient analyses
  • 4Guide subcontractor technical and project management activities to ensure on time delivery
  • 5Support integration testing and mission operations post launch activities
  • 6Generate and decompose subsystem requirements and manage interfaces with stakeholders
  • 7Analyze on ground failures and in orbit anomalies to drive root cause corrective actions
  • 8Provide earned value reporting for cost accounts and monitor schedule performance

Requirements5

  • 1Be completing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 2Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
  • 3Solid background and understanding of electrical engineering
  • 4Strong communication and cross disciplinary liaison capability
  • 5Ability to lead and serve as point of contact for stakeholders at various levels
