Overview
Own donation intake and on site operations at a busy center with a focus on customer service and organization. You will handle donations, assist customers, and support logistics for outgoing shipments at scale. Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient donation area. What You'll Do10
- 1Build organized donation intake by sorting items and labeling gaylords for storage and transport
- 2Ship and transport preparation by creating manifests for outgoing gaylords including trucks and trailers
- 3Maintain a clean donation center by cleaning restrooms, parking lot, and floors
- 4Assist in loading or unloading merchandise onto/off trucks and trailers
- 5Follow safety rules and report hazards and incidents to the RDC Operations Leader
- 6Collaborate with customers to meet needs and expectations
- 7Support inventory organization and merchandise placement to maximize resources
- 8Provide excellent customer service and maintain property safety and security
- 9Record incidents of theft or misappropriation and protect donated goods
- 10Promote a culture of growth and development within the team
Requirements5
- 1High School education or equivalent
- 2Excellent customer service skills
- 3Ability to be trained and take direction
- 4Ability to speak and read English proficiently
- 5Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable for position
