Overview
Own the sales floor operations for a Goodwill retail location and drive achievement of sales goals across daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly horizons. Lead, develop, and retain a high performing team of Retail Sales Associates while ensuring exceptional customer service to donors and customers. Collaborate with store leadership to align with the company vision and culture change initiatives. This role blends operations management with people leadership in a community focused nonprofit retail environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and lead a motivated sales team to meet store profit and revenue goals
- 2Drive daily operations, inventory control, and reporting for accurate performance metrics
- 3Mentor and train Retail Sales Associates to meet company standards and deliver excellent customer service
- 4De escalate customer issues and coordinate with upper management as needed
- 5Oversee store safety, security, cleanliness, and adherence to policies and procedures
- 6Manage staffing, performance management, and development plans for Team Members
- 7Shapeshift store operations in response to business needs and transfers between locations
- 8Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and statutory requirements
- 9Collaborate with leadership to communicate clear vision and maintain high Team Member engagement
- 10Support company culture change initiatives and embody core values in daily work
Requirements6
- 1High School Diploma or GED
- 2One-year work experience in Retail Management preferred
- 3One-year customer service experience
- 4Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- 5Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- 6English reading and speaking proficiency
