Retail Store Manager in Training
Overview
Drive retail business operations for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona to fund the Goodwill mission of ending unemployment. Lead entire store production, assist Assistant Store Managers, and manage donation processing and customer service.
What You'll Do11
- 1Develop and execute retail operations plan to achieve daily monthly quarterly yearly goals for operating income revenue and production
- 2Coordinate with Retail District Manager to develop and implement strategic plans for donation drives
- 3Monitor product levels daily to meet bottom line sales budget targets
- 4Manage payroll costs and operating expenses to stay within budget
- 5Ensure team members provide excellent customer service to donors and customers
- 6Maintain clean store locations reflecting Goodwill brand standards
- 7Partner with community businesses to promote Goodwill mission
- 8Transfer between stores as needed to cover shifts and support business needs
- 9Partner with support areas like Asset Protection and HR to ensure policy compliance
- 10Build high-performing teams through coaching and development

Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2Two years retail management experience preferred
- 3One year customer service experience
- 4Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- 5Valid driver's license and clean MVR
- 6Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- 7Fluent English reading and speaking skills
