Customer Service Manager - Goodwill San Francisco Bay
Overview
Lead a dynamic sales floor at Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay in San Rafael. Own daily operations and drive performance to meet sales targets. This role focuses on team leadership, customer satisfaction, and maintaining brand standards.
What You'll Do18
- 1Execute retail operations plan to achieve daily monthly quarterly and yearly profit revenue and production goals
- 2Make decisions on day-to-day retail operations within defined work area
- 3Conduct new goods inventory and ensure proper reporting
- 4Reconcile and balance all daily paperwork
- 5Ensure team members deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers
- 6De-escalate customer situations while finding appropriate solutions
- 7Maintain clean well-kept store locations reflecting Goodwill brand
- 8Transfer between stores based on business needs
- 9Oversee sales floor operations including maintenance custodial duties and floor standards
- 10Provide mentoring and training to develop Retail Sales Associate skills
- 11Ensure compliance with security health safety policies and coordinate with Goodwill divisions
- 12Process complex sales transactions including customer returns
- 13Collaborate with store leadership to establish company vision and engage team members
- 14Maintain consistent in-person attendance
- 15Handle performance management coaching discipline and annual reviews
- 16Manage staffing compensation and development of team members
- 17Drive company culture change initiatives
- 18Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma GED or equivalent work experience
- 2One-year Retail Management experience preferred
- 3One-year customer service experience required
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- 5Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- 6English speaking and reading proficiency
- 7Reasonable accommodation available
