What You'll Do8

- 3Protect company assets by following cash safety protocols and monitoring store activity for potential loss
- 4Stock shelves and recover merchandise to keep displays full and organized, using inventory management software to track low items
- 5Receive truck deliveries and unload merchandise, lifting 30-50 lbs and organizing stock in the back room
- 6Maintain store cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms, and taking out trash on a rotating schedule
- 7Follow supervisor instructions for daily tasks, from price changes to promotional setups, ensuring compliance with Dollar Tree standards
- 8Collaborate with associates to resolve customer complaints and ensure a positive shopping environment
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but no degree required for start
- 26+ months of retail, hotel, restaurant, or grocery customer service experience preferred
- 3Ability to lift 30-50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height and stand/walk for full shifts
- 4Proficiency with POS systems and basic cash handling math for register transactions
- 5Strong verbal communication skills to assist customers and relay information to team leaders
- 6Problem-solving mindset to handle customer inquiries and store issues independently
