You will own the front-end experience at a high-volume Dollar Tree, handling every customer interaction and transaction with speed and accuracy. What You'll Do8
- 1Greet every customer and answer product questions, using product knowledge to make smart recommendations.
- 2Operate the POS system to ring up sales, process returns, and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- 3Secure cash drawers and follow cash handling protocols to minimize shrinkage and protect company assets.
- 4Stock shelves and recover merchandise on the sales floor, ensuring high-demand items stay available.
- 5Unload delivery trucks and move stock to the back room, organizing inventory for efficient replenishment.
- 6Keep the store spotless by sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, and taking out trash before closing.
- 7Work with the team to hit daily productivity standards for stocking and recovery tasks.
- 8Handle rush periods without losing composure, keeping checkout lines moving and customers happy.
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 21+ years of customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments.
- 3Proven ability to read and follow operational documents and instructions.
- 4Capable of lifting 30-50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height, plus frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
- 5Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and team members.
- 6Solid organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks and keep the store tidy.
- 7Excellent communication skills for clear, friendly interactions.
