Overview
You will own daily store operations, from unloading trucks to running the cash register, at a high-volume Dollar Tree location. What You'll Do8
- 1Unload trucks and process freight safely, following productivity standards
- 2Merchandise and stock shelves to keep products visible and accessible
- 3Clean the store, including restrooms, floors, and trash, to maintain a neat appearance
- 4Interact with customers and associates in a positive, respectful way
- 5Manage sales transactions accurately at the assigned cash register
- 6Safeguard cash and protect company assets from loss
- 7Switch to front-end duties as needed, covering breaks and peak times
- 8Follow instructions from supervisors and adapt to changing priorities
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 21+ years of customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred
- 3Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
- 4Lift 30-50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height, and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- 5Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- 6Strong organizational and communication skills
- 7Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- 8High level of integrity
- 9Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting
