Join the Magpies Softserve Silver Lake team as a Counter Server. You'll own the guest experience from order to hand-off in a chef-owned shop where everything is made from scratch. What You'll Do8
- 1Greet guests with a warm welcome and guide them through our menu, highlighting oat milk and almond milk options.
- 2Take orders accurately and process payments using the POS system, balancing speed and care.
- 3Serve soft serve cones and cups, layering flavors and toppings with precision.
- 4Keep the counter and service area spotless, restocking cups, lids, and napkins during rushes.
- 5Communicate with the back-of-house team to ensure tickets are completed in order and on time.
- 6Handle guest questions about ingredients, including dairy and non-dairy bases, with confidence.
- 7Support teammates during peak hours, covering dish station or prep as needed.
- 8Maintain a positive, team-first attitude even when lines are long and demands are high.
Requirements6
- 14+ days of open availability per week, including all weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday required).
- 2Strong listening and communication skills, able to clarify orders and answer questions.
- 3Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume, fast-paced counter environment.
- 4Comfortable tasting both dairy (milk, cream) and non-dairy products like oat milk, almond milk, and coconut milk.
- 5A consistently positive attitude and a team-first mindset, supporting coworkers during rushes.
