Overview
We seek a friendly energetic dependable Front of House Counter Associate to join our Italian sandwich shop. You will own excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment while delivering great food and coffee. What You'll Do11
- 1Greet guests with a warm welcoming attitude
- 2Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- 3Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks espresso beverages and other non-alcoholic drinks
- 4Serve beer and wine in accordance with all applicable laws and company policies
- 5Operate the point-of-sale POS system and handle cash and credit card transactions
- 6Answer customer questions about our menu and make recommendations
- 7Deliver food and beverages to customers when needed
- 8Keep the dining room beverage station and counter clean stocked and organized throughout the day
- 9Bus and sanitize tables promptly to maintain a clean dining area
- 10Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties
- 11Work as part of a team to provide an exceptional guest experience
Requirements8
- 1Must be at least 18 years old
- 2Previous restaurant café or customer service experience preferred but training is welcome
- 3Comfortable serving alcoholic beverages including beer and wine
- 4Ability to prepare espresso-based coffee drinks or willingness to learn
- 5Excellent communication and customer service skills
- 6Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- 7Dependent punctual and team-oriented
- 8Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
