Overview
You'll own the morning shift at Nan's Kitchen, setting the tone for the day and leading the front-of-house team. You'll craft signature drinks, manage coffee and tea inventory, and ensure takeout orders are packed perfectly. Working alongside a dedicated team, you'll deliver warm hospitality to every guest. What You'll Do8
- 1Open the restaurant and set the tone for the day with a welcoming presence.
- 2Take guest orders with warmth and accuracy, using the POS system.
- 3Package and manage takeout orders for pickup, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- 4Oversee coffee and tea inventory, restocking and rotating to maintain freshness.
- 5Craft sauces and syrups for signature drinks using scratch-made recipes.
- 6Receive and put away incoming orders, keeping the back stock organized.
- 7Complete side work, including cleaning and restocking the bar area.
- 8Collaborate with team members to exceed guest expectations during peak hours.
Requirements8
- 12+ years of barista experience in a high-volume cafe or restaurant.
- 2Proven ability to open the shop and handle the morning rush independently.
- 3Strong knowledge of espresso machines and drink preparation techniques.
- 4Detail-oriented multitasker who thrives under pressure.
- 5Comfortable taking the lead on a busy shift and directing others.
- 6Passionate about hospitality and creating a welcoming environment.
- 7Reliable morning availability, including weekends.
- 8Food handler certification is a plus.
