Construction Manager - Transportation Infrastructure Projects

Own delivery of large-scale transportation construction projects in Washington, DC, coordinating stakeholders and schedules to hit milestones. You will join Turner & Townsend HEERY, a global project management firm with 22,000+ staff across 60+ countries, partnering with CBRE on premier infrastructure programs. Manage design teams, contractors, and client relationships while driving cost control and value engineering. Lead heavy highway and civil construction projects across Houston ensuring safe on‑schedule on‑budget delivery. Own end‑to‑end execution from preconstruction to closeout while driving performance and client satisfaction.

You will own the construction phase of District projects, managing and inspecting the installation of parks, facilities, and public works infrastructure for 18,000+ residents. Reporting to the District Engineer, you will coordinate schedules, scope, and costs with contractors to ensure build quality matches plans, specs, and contract documents. The District covers your medical, dental, and vision insurance at 100%, plus a 2-to-1 retirement match. This role blends office strategy with active onsite leadership, including weekly safety walkthroughs. Procore and Primavera proficiency will set you apart in a role that values direct oversight and problem-solving.

You will organize work flow for projects and maintain accurate records, developing schedules based on customer requirements, parts deliveries, and production. You will coordinate with city, county, and state personnel, general and subcontractors, and Bassco employees. You will prepare and submit engineering reports, publish O&M manuals, and create installation information packets. This role demands excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt plans to changing conditions.

Project Construction Manager will own multi-site construction projects from kickoff to closeout, coordinating 5+ crews across Houston. They will align subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors to hit quality, budget, and schedule targets. This role reports to Operations and works with Sales, Purchasing, and Field Superintendents. The position demands on-site leadership and a track record of delivering high-volume production builds.
