Overview

Project Construction Manager will own multi-site construction projects from kickoff to closeout, coordinating 5+ crews across Houston. They will align subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors to hit quality, budget, and schedule targets. This role reports to Operations and works with Sales, Purchasing, and Field Superintendents. The position demands on-site leadership and a track record of delivering high-volume production builds.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Drive project execution from start to closeout, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors to meet budget and schedule.
  • 2Enforce safety protocols on all sites, conducting walk-through inspections and correcting hazards immediately.
  • 3Schedule labor, equipment, and material deliveries to avoid downtime.
  • 4Read blueprints to verify compliance with building codes and permitting standards.
  • 5Manage cost estimates, change orders, and invoices to protect margin.
  • 6Communicate daily with clients, vendors, and internal teams to align scope and expectations.
  • 7Track progress against milestones, reporting timeline and cost risks to management.
  • 8Maintain clean, organized jobsites and company assets.
  • 9Mentor technicians and subcontractors on quality standards and customer expectations.

Requirements9

  • 15+ years of high-volume production construction experience
  • 2Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
  • 3Advanced training in at least one trade (electrical, plumbing, framing, etc.)
  • 4Knowledge of facility maintenance, commercial services, and construction systems
  • 5Ability to read blueprints and inspect demolition, framing, masonry, stucco, glass, general, electrical, lighting, plumbing
  • 65+ years of supervisory experience in construction or renovation
  • 7Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • 8Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and equipment
  • 9Valid driver's license and ability to travel (fly, rent car)
