What You'll Do11

  • 1Manage multiple highway and civil infrastructure projects
  • 2Oversee budgets schedules procurement subcontractors cost controls and project risks
  • 3Provide active onsite leadership to superintendents field personnel and junior project managers
  • 4Attend weekly onsite safety meetings and project walkthroughs
  • 5Maintain thorough knowledge of contracts plans specifications and project requirements
  • 6Prepare and manage RFIs submittals change orders progress reports and other documentation
  • 7Analyze cost impacts forecast job costs and monitor project performance
  • 8Coordinate with clients subcontractors suppliers and government agencies
  • 9Ensure compliance with TxDOT specifications and all safety environmental and quality standards
  • 10Resolve issues affecting project scope schedule or cost
  • 11Assist with proposals contract negotiations and business development

Requirements10

  • 15+ years of civil construction project management experience preferably highway infrastructure
  • 2Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or related field
  • 3Strong knowledge of construction methods scheduling contract administration and cost control
  • 4Excellent leadership communication and organizational skills
  • 5Proficiency with project scheduling and construction management software
  • 6Authorized to work in the United States
  • 7TxDOT project experience preferred
  • 8Experience with Procore Microsoft Project Primavera or similar platforms
  • 9PMP or comparable project management certification
  • 10OSHA 30 certification
