Overview
Atlas Fibre seeks a skilled CNC Router Setup & Operator to lead machining of thermoset composites and engineering plastics. The ideal candidate will independently manage router setups, produce precision parts, and uphold rigorous quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
What You'll Do11
- 1Set up and operate Northwood and Onsrud CNC routers
- 2Read blueprints and job travelers
- 3Load materials and secure workpieces
- 4Install tooling and configure machine setups
- 5Verify first-piece quality and adjust offsets
- 6Monitor machine performance during production
- 7Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools
- 8Troubleshoot machining and quality issues
- 9Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance
- 10Document production and quality records
- 11Maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements7
- 1Minimum 1 year of hands-on CNC router experience
- 2Experience with Northwood or Onsrud equipment
- 3Ability to read blueprints and work instructions
- 4Proficiency with calipers and micrometers
- 5Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- 6Basic computer and math proficiency
- 7Reliable attendance and commitment to safety
