CNC Set-Up Technician Operator
Overview
Dynamic Manufacturing seeks a skilled CNC Set-Up Technician/Operator to lead precision machining tasks in our remanufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will set up and operate advanced CNC machines while ensuring quality and safety standards. This role drives production efficiency and supports complex manufacturing operations.
What You'll Do11
- 1Select and prepare tools machines and materials for machining operations
- 2Set up adjust and run basic and specialized CNC machines to produce precision parts
- 3Measure inspect and test components using calibrated instruments to verify specifications
- 4Monitor machine performance and adjust parameters to maintain optimal efficiency
- 5Analyze sample parts and engineering documentation to determine fabrication sequences
- 6Diagnose equipment issues by observing and listening to machine operations
- 7Maintain clean and organized workstations through regular cleaning and lubrication
- 8Advise clients on material selection for finished products
- 9Collaborate with engineering teams to improve tool life and machining processes
- 10Design and fabricate custom fixtures and tooling solutions
- 11Perform deep hole drilling and execute tight tolerance machining tasks
Requirements11
- 13+ years of machining or manufacturing experience
- 2Proficiency with blueprint reading and interpretation
- 3Ability to follow detailed instructions and document learning outcomes
- 4Willingness to pursue additional technical education through trade schools
- 5Strong mechanical aptitude and quick learning capability
- 6Commitment to safety compliance and quality assurance practices
- 7Physical stamina to lift 20-50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- 8Reliable attendance and flexibility to work varying shifts
- 9Strong communication skills for verbal and written instruction comprehension
- 10Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- 11Experience with heavy equipment operation and maintenance
