CNC Technician
Overview
Experienced CNC Milling Technician needed for precision component production in Rock Hill South Carolina. Responsible for setting up operating maintaining and troubleshooting CNC milling equipment while ensuring quality safety and continuous improvement. Must have strong machining background excellent blueprint reading skills and commitment to excellence.
What You'll Do11
- 1Set up and operate CNC milling machines using appropriate tooling fixtures and raw materials
- 2Monitor machine cycles and inspect finished parts for quality compliance
- 3Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and maintain accuracy
- 4Adjust machine settings tooling and offsets to optimize production and quality
- 5Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
- 6Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
- 7Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and manufacturing specifications
- 8Accurately document production output scrap tool changes and quality inspections
- 9Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
- 10Collaborate with production quality and engineering teams to support operational goals
- 11Drive process improvements through hands-on expertise and continuous learning
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or GED required
- 2Minimum of 2 years CNC milling experience in manufacturing
- 3Strong understanding of CNC tooling machining processes cutting parameters and setup procedures
- 4Experience with CNC controls Heidenhain preferred
- 5Ability to read and interpret blueprints engineering drawings and technical specifications
- 6Proficiency with precision measuring equipment including calipers micrometers gauges and other inspection tools
- 7Excellent attention to detail commitment to quality work
- 8Reliable attendance strong work ethic
- 9Physical ability to stand walk bend and lift up to 50 pounds
- 10Safety awareness working around moving machinery
