The Manufacturing Engineer will provide day-to-day support troubleshoot machining quality and develop robust machining processes.
What You'll Do11
- 1Provide day-to-day manufacturing engineering support to production operations
- 2Troubleshoot machining quality tooling and process-related issues
- 3Develop and improve machining processes for composite and plastic components
- 4Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam
- 5Design and implement workholding fixtures and manufacturing solutions
- 6Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for production and quality issues
- 7Work closely with machinists programmers and quality personnel to improve manufacturing performance
- 8Develop setup sheets work instructions process documentation and engineering standards
- 9Support new product introduction activities and transition projects into production
- 10Assist with equipment validation process capability studies and continuous improvement initiatives
- 11Evaluate manufacturing risks and implement practical solutions to improve quality and efficiency
Requirements11
- 15+ years of Manufacturing Engineering CNC Programming or related experiences
- 2Strong understanding of CNC machining processes
- 3Experience with Mastercam or similar CAM software
- 4Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models
- 5Working knowledge of GD&T and inspection methods
- 6Experience troubleshooting manufacturing and quality issues
- 7Strong understanding of tooling and machining fundamentals
- 8Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- 9Comfortable working in a fast-paced hands-on manufacturing environment
- 10Preferred experience machining plastics composites or engineered materials
- 11Familiarity with Vericut or similar simulation software
