CNC Lathe Programmer Set Up Day Shift

You own programming and setup for CNC Lathe machines on 1st shift, machining parts to customer specs. You work with Mastercam and live tooling to produce precision components. Own axis CNC lathe setup and operation for precision plastic components at a high-volume manufacturer. You will set up, edit, and run CNC programs to hit tight tolerances and production targets. Work with a tight-knit team of machinists and supervisors to solve process issues. This role values hands-on skill and continuous improvement, not just pushing a button.

Lead CNC Lathe Operations managing machining tasks at high volume. Oversee production of product parts and tooling items while ensuring quality standards. Provide leadership and technical expertise to achieve operational goals.

You'll run CNC lathes in a high-mix job shop, producing precision parts to blueprint specs. Work on Fanuc and Mazatrol controls, with Mazak Multiplex and Mori Seiki multitask machines. Join a team of 20 machinists in an air-conditioned shop, reporting to the Lathe Department Lead. This role stands out for its cross-training on live tooling and multi-spindle machines, plus a clear path to senior machinist.

You will own CNC setup, programming, and operation for CNC mills and lathes, producing precision components against strict blueprint tolerances. You work in a climate-controlled shop with 120 CNC machines and advanced metrology equipment, collaborating with a team of machinists and trainers. This role includes G and M code programming, Siemens and Fanuc controls, and first-piece inspection using micrometers and calipers.
