You will own benefits-related administrative work for a non-profit organization in New York, New York. What You'll Do8
- 1Maintain and update benefit, personnel, and administrative records with high accuracy.
- 2Provide clerical support for benefits administration, including documentation, filing, correspondence, and data entry.
- 3Respond professionally to questions from members, retirees, employees, vendors, and partner organizations, directing issues appropriately.
- 4Review forms, records, and related materials to verify completeness and identify errors before processing.
- 5Organize physical and electronic files so documents can be retrieved efficiently while preserving confidentiality.
- 6Assist with coordination of benefit-related functions such as leave administration, COBRA support, and general benefits processing.
- 7Work collaboratively with internal teams while managing assigned tasks independently and meeting deadlines.
- 8Perform additional office and administrative duties as needed to support daily departmental operations.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2Previous experience in clerical, administrative, office support, or customer service work preferred.
- 3Ability to enter data accurately and maintain organized records.
- 4Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- 5Demonstrated ability to handle confidential employee, member, and benefits-related information with discretion.
- 6Careful attention to detail when reviewing documents and information for accuracy.
