Overview
You own mechanical upkeep at a chemical manufacturing facility in South Sacramento, keeping plant assets and systems running to minimize downtime. You work swing or night shifts, Monday through Friday, as part of a maintenance team that reports to the maintenance supervisor. You perform hands-on repairs on rotating equipment, piping, and electrical control systems, using tools like JLGs and forklifts. What You'll Do9
- 1Complete projects assigned by the maintenance supervisor, delivering on schedule and within scope.
- 2Maintain plant assets and mechanical systems, reducing downtime and extending equipment life.
- 3Adapt to shifting priorities and own work processes to hit tight deadlines in a chemical plant setting.
- 4Contribute as a team member, collaborating with operators and other technicians to resolve issues.

Requirements7
- 13+ years in a general maintenance environment with proven mechanical competency.
- 2Hands-on experience with mechanics, rotating equipment, piping fitting, and welding.
- 3Competency in electrical systems, including PLC, HMI, and general control systems.
- 4Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- 5Ability to read and understand technical construction and mechanical drawings.
- 6Proficiency in English for reading, writing, and verbal communication.
- 7Prior experience in a chemical or petro-chemical manufacturing environment is preferred.
