Overview
You own maintenance operations for a food processing plant in San Jose, ensuring 5+ years of equipment reliability and uptime. What You'll Do8
- 1Generate and manage the maintenance shift schedule based on team meetings, line inspections, and PM requirements.
- 2Execute and supervise preventive maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
- 3Develop and mentor direct reports, setting performance standards and career growth plans.
- 4Coordinate and audit work orders using CMMS to prioritize and track maintenance activities.
- 5Perform root cause analysis on machine downtime and implement corrective actions using KPI metrics.
- 6Manage contractor work and major capital projects, overseeing scope, schedule, and budget.
- 7Maintain plant facilities and grounds, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
- 8Document all repairs, rebuilds, and inspections in detailed records for audit and analysis.
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or GED is required.
- 22+ years of experience in a maintenance department, preferably in automated food processing.
- 3Basic knowledge of PLCs and equipment troubleshooting.
- 4Ability to read maintenance manuals, drawings, and specifications.
- 5Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and scheduling.
- 6Knowledge of preventive maintenance software and CMMS systems.
- 7Weekend availability (Mon-Thurs, Sun 6a-2p) and shift work until 10:30pm.
