Own the financial health and strategic direction of a behavioral health facility with responsibility for budgeting financial reporting revenue cycle management and regulatory compliance at Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospital. What You'll Do10
- 1Lead monthly financial statements and ensure timely accurate reporting
- 2Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and resolve variances
- 3Direct Revenue Cycle operations to optimize cash collections and minimize uncompensated care
- 4Improve AR days reduce bad debt and denials and monitor revenue cycle metrics
- 5Oversee Front End Revenue Cycle processes including insurance verification patient portions discounts and upfront collections
- 6Supervise Accounting Patient Accounting Health Information Management and other departments as directed by the CEO
- 7Prepare annual capital budgets and Capital Equipment Requests and manage asset depreciation
- 8Provide financial leadership to facility managers and train teams on financial matters
- 9Maintain knowledge of healthcare industry trends and ensure regulatory compliance
- 10Support month end year end close budget season and survey periods with extended hours when needed
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 2Minimum 5 years of progressive financial management experience including at least 2 years in a healthcare or behavioral health setting
- 3Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement MedicareMedicaid revenue cycle management and cost reporting
- 4Proficiency in financial accounting software and advanced Excel
- 5Strong analytical organizational and communication skills
- 6Preferred CPA CMA or MBA
- 7Experience in acute inpatient psychiatric or behavioral health finance
- 8Experience with EHRbilling systems
- 9Core competencies include financial analysis strategic planning regulatory and compliance knowledge leadership cross-department collaboration
- 10Attention to detail and integrity in financial reporting

$150 - $195k per year
