Business Analyst / Project Coordinator, Banking PMO
Overview
You will own delivery tracking and cross-team coordination for a large banking portfolio, acting as an extension of senior leadership. You will manage priorities, drive initiatives, and ensure critical projects stay on schedule. This role sits within a fast-paced PMO, reporting directly to program leads. What You'll Do8
- 1Drive weekly status reporting and risk tracking for 10+ concurrent workstreams
- 2Coordinate with engineering, operations, and compliance teams to remove blockers
- 3Own meeting agendas and action items, ensuring follow-through within 48 hours
- 4Build and maintain project plans in Jira and Confluence
- 5Translate technical updates into executive summaries for leadership review
- 6Facilitate agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retros) for cross-functional pods
- 7Monitor milestone dependencies and flag slippage to program managers
- 8Produce dashboard views in Tableau for portfolio health metrics
Requirements8
- 13+ years as a project coordinator or business analyst in banking or financial services
- 22+ years using Jira or Confluence for project tracking
- 3Proven ability to interface with senior leadership (VP+ level)
- 4Strong written and verbal communication with executive presence
- 5Experience with MS Project or Excel for project planning
- 6Knowledge of SDLC or Agile methodologies
- 7Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 8Local to Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex (onsite 3 days/week)
