IT Business Analyst, Dallas TX
Overview
Own the interface between business partners and technology teams, analyzing current processes and systems to drive integration. Work with Solution Architects and cross-functional teams to align business models with tech. Lead stakeholder sessions to define requirements and validate solutions. This role centers on process evaluation and tech-enabled change, with a 12-month onsite engagement.
What You'll Do8
- 1Map current business processes and systems, identifying gaps and integration points with Solution Architects.
- 2Lead requirements-gathering sessions with business partners, documenting functional and technical needs.
- 3Translate business needs into detailed Agile user stories and acceptance criteria.
- 4Collaborate with QA to define test scenarios that validate process and system changes.
- 5Track and report on project milestones, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.
- 6Facilitate process workshops to evaluate business model impact on IT systems.
- 7Support UAT cycles, coordinating sign-off and issue resolution.
- 8Document current-state and future-state workflows, maintaining JIRA boards.
Requirements8
- 15+ years in Business Analysis or related role.
- 2Proven track record with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
- 3Experience modeling processes with Visio or Lucidchart.
- 4Strong SQL skills for data querying and analysis.
- 5Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field.
- 6Experience in financial services or insurance industry.
- 7CBAP or PMP certification preferred.
- 8Ability to travel to onsite locations in Dallas, Addison, Charlotte, or Jacksonville.
Salary Insight
$104 - $116k per year
