Project Manager, Banking & Advisory
Overview
Own project delivery across banking and advisory engagements, managing larger scale budgets and high complexity risks. Partner with executive stakeholders to ensure predictable outcomes from startup to completion. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and drive milestones in an onsite environment. What You'll Do8
- 1Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in partnership with banking stakeholders.
- 2Build detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for advisory engagements.
- 3Monitor project budgets, track variances, and implement corrective actions to stay within financial targets.
- 4Coordinate cross-functional teams across onsite locations, removing blockers and managing dependencies.
- 5Facilitate status meetings, document decisions, and communicate progress to executive sponsors.
- 6Identify and mitigate risks, escalating critical issues to leadership when needed.
- 7Ensure project artifacts meet banking compliance and audit standards.
- 8Drive project closure, capturing lessons learned and transitioning knowledge to operations.
Requirements8
- 15+ years of project management experience in banking or financial services.
- 2Proven track record managing projects with $1M+ budgets and cross-functional teams.
- 3PMP or PMI-ACP certification preferred.
- 4Hands-on expertise with MS Project, Jira, or Asana.
- 5Deep understanding of advisory project lifecycle and risk management.
- 6Strong stakeholder management skills with executive presence.
- 7Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- 8Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
