What You'll Do11
- 1Execute the Wow Operating Way plan to ensure consistent service delivery
- 2Plan and prepare cost estimates for customer repairs
- 3Repair vehicle sections using specialized tools like cutting guns and plasma cutters
- 4Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when alternative methods are unavailable
- 5Realign chassis and frames to address structural damage
- 6Remove and replace damaged vehicle components with new or aftermarket parts
- 7Replace or repair glass and windshields as needed
- 8Restore interiors and weld attachments to secure vehicle integrity
- 9Apply factory-specified paint or approved equivalents during repainting
- 10Inspect completed repairs to confirm accuracy and quality
- 11Perform additional related duties as assigned
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent plus completion of a technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship
- 2Ability to read job orders independently with minimal supervision
- 3Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with other repairers
- 4Thorough knowledge of vehicle body repair methods and procedures
- 5Proficiency in operating required tools such as cutting guns and hydraulic jacks
- 6Capacity to lift up to 30 pounds
- 7Visual inspection capability under varied weather conditions
- 8Flexibility to perform bending stretching kneeling and squatting tasks
- 9Commitment to safe work practices in noisy environments with strong odors
