Auto Body Technician Gerber Collision & Glass
Overview
Lead the delivery of exceptional customer experiences by performing meticulous assessments and quality repairs to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve facility KPIs and serve as a Brand Ambassador embodying the company's values of speed quality and customer excellence.
What You'll Do9
- 1Execute the Wow Operating Way plan to ensure consistent repair execution
- 2Plan and prepare cost estimates for customer vehicle repairs
- 3Utilize cutting guns plasma cutters hydraulic jacks hammers and pliers to repair vehicle sections
- 4Hammer out dents dimples and other minor body damage or apply filler resins
- 5Realign car chassis and frames replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts
- 6Replace or repair glass and windshields interior components and weld attach parts
- 7Prepare and repaint vehicles using factory specified paint or agreed-upon equivalents
- 8Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles post-repair
- 9Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent requirement
- 2Technical school graduate or 3-year auto body apprenticeship
- 3Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision
- 4Strong teamwork skills working alongside other repairers
- 5Thorough understanding of vehicle body repair methods and procedures
- 6Knowledge of required tools for the trade
- 7Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- 8Visual inspection capability in varied weather conditions
- 9Flexibility to bend stretch kneel and squat during repairs
