Auction Lot Attendant, Auto Auction & Onsite Operations
Overview
Own the day-to-day staging and movement of vehicles on the lot from check-in through sale lanes and pickup. Manage vehicle placement for auction events at a busy dealer-only facility serving the greater Charlotte area. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain organized lot layout and vehicle locations for auction readiness
- 2Tag, inventory, and inspect vehicles ensuring keys are present and basic safety checks
- 3Maintain a clean, secure lot and report hazards or damages promptly
- 4Track vehicle location, document conditions, and report missing vehicles
- 5Assist buyers and dealers in locating vehicles and addressing inquiries
- 6Start vehicles, ensure adequate fuel, and perform minor maintenance as needed
- 7Follow all safety procedures and report concerns to management
- 8Support driving vehicles on the auction floor when required
- 9Coordinate with lot staff to ensure efficient movement during auction day
- 10Communicate effectively to support a seamless auction experience
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or GED
- 2Valid, unrestricted driver\'s license with clean driving record
- 3Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and moderate noise
- 4Comfort with walking long distances on a large facility
- 5Team-oriented approach with basic mechanical knowledge (flat tires, low fuel, jump starting)
- 6Experience in automotive, auction, or wholesale industries preferred
- 7Ability to perform basic inspections and documentation tasks
- 8Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- 9Willingness to follow safety procedures and report issues promptly
- 10Availability to support Monday through Friday with Tuesday auction day involvement
