Lot Driver II, ADESA Concord &lot Operations
Overview
Lot Driver II supports auction activity by transporting and staging vehicles across the lot at chain sites. You will move, park, and inventory vehicles with safety and accuracy in a fast paced environment. This role collaborates with the operations team to ensure correct vehicle movement and compliance with policies. This position offers steady daytime hours and exposure to a large vehicle logistics operation.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build lot coordination by guiding drivers to ensure correct vehicles are moved and staged efficiently
- 2Monitor workflow across the lot and provide direction to maintain operational accuracy
- 3Operate motor vehicles safely and practice conservative driving habits
- 4Move, stage, and park various makes and models in designated areas during shifts
- 5Scan parked vehicles in the internal tracking system to maintain accurate inventory
- 6Jump-start vehicles using a battery box as needed
- 7Maintain clean, organized work areas and promptly notify managers of hazards or incidents
- 8Adhere to company policies, procedures, and state or federal laws
- 9Support other duties as assigned by the manager
- 10Ensure customer service standards in interactions with drivers and auction staff
Requirements10
- 1High School diploma or GED preferred
- 2Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license
- 3Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes
- 4Automotive or auction experience preferred
- 5Proficiency with computer systems and applications
- 6Ability to read and follow alphanumeric order and motor vehicle traffic signs
- 7Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- 8Strong communication and teamwork skills
- 9Detail oriented with multitasking ability
- 10Commitment to safety and policy compliance
