Lot Driver, ADESA Dallas & Onsite Operations Support
Overview
The Lot Driver will move and stage vehicles across the yard to support auction activity at ADESA Dallas Hutchins TX. You will operate varied makes and models with safe driving and accurate inventory updates. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build safe driving habits and follow company procedures to move and stage vehicles across the lot
- 2Design and implement efficient lot flow by positioning vehicles to meet sale day needs
- 3Lead vehicle movement including finish line to parking spots using alphanumeric ordering
- 4Ship inventory updates by scanning parked vehicles in the Internal Tracking system
- 5Own maintenance tasks such as jump-starts using a battery box when required
- 6Drive safety compliance by maintaining clean work areas and reporting hazards or incidents
- 7Coordinate with managers to follow accident, injury, or property damage procedures
- 8Support other duties assigned by the manager
- 9Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure customer service excellence
- 10Assist in overall yard operations to meet daily targets and schedules
Requirements10
- 1High School diploma or GED preferred
- 2Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver\'s license
- 3Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes
- 4Automotive or auction experience preferred
- 5Proficiency with computer systems and applications
- 6Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- 7Ability to operate in any weather conditions and fast paced environment
- 8Detail oriented with strong multitasking skills
- 9Team player with good communication skills
- 10Commitment to safety and following company policies
