Assistant Director of Nursing, RN Leadership in Long-Term Care
Overview
As the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) you will co lead our nursing team at Twin Lakes Rehab and Healthcare Center with responsibility for maintaining clinical excellence at scale. You will partner with the DON to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and to develop a high performing team of RNs and LPNs. You will mentor staff, oversee clinical operations, and drive quality patient care in a long term care setting.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead daily clinical operations in collaboration with the Director of Nursing to maintain regulatory compliance
- 2Drive quality patient care and safety outcomes across the facility
- 3Mentor and supervise nursing staff, promoting professional development
- 4Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workflow to ensure optimal patient care
- 5Ensure adherence to S.H.A.R.E. values in all interactions with residents, families, and team
- 6Monitor regulatory changes and implement policy updates to remain compliant
- 7Support new employee onboarding and ongoing training programs
- 8Assist in performance evaluations and recognition programs for staff
- 9Partner with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care transitions
- 10Assist in budget and resource management to optimize care delivery
Requirements5
- 1RN license in good standing
- 2Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience in long-term care
- 3Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care
- 4Ability to pass post offer, pre-employment background check and physical/drug screen
- 5Commitment to S.H.A.R.E. values and patient centered care
