What You'll Do8
- 1Plan and direct daily nursing operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- 2Develop and implement in-service education programs for nursing staff, incorporating current rehabilitative and restorative practices.
- 3Lead the nursing team in delivering quality care, conducting rounds, and auditing clinical documentation.
- 4Coordinate with the Director of Nursing to manage staffing, scheduling, and resident care plans.
- 5Monitor AHCA background screening compliance for all nursing personnel.
- 6Drive infection control and safety protocols, aligning with CMS standards.
- 7Mentor and evaluate nursing staff, providing feedback and training to improve performance.
- 8Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet resident needs and enhance care outcomes.
Requirements7
- 1RN license in good standing with Florida state requirements.
- 2CPR certification, current and maintained.
- 32+ years in long-term care or skilled nursing settings.
- 4Knowledge of nursing practices, rehabilitative care, and regulatory guidelines.
- 5Ability to plan and develop new programs, with a positive attitude toward the elderly.
- 6Willingness to incorporate new methods into training practices.
- 7Pass background screening through AHCA Clearinghouse.
