Overview
The Assistant Director of Health Services will lead nursing care operations for a Lifespark Senior Living Community at Legacy of St. Michael in St. Michael, MN with 95 units across assisted living, independent living, and memory care. They will oversee nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with leadership to enhance resident care. This role blends clinical oversight with staff development and operational coordination to support residents aging magnificently. You will influence care delivery, staffing plans, and collaboration with families and care teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead and coordinate nursing staff to deliver quality resident care that meets company and regulatory standards RN supervision and clinical oversight
- 2Perform rounds to assess the quality and appropriateness of nursing care and interventions documentation accuracy and medication administration
- 3Maintain administrative authority for charting, documentation, medications, and treatments electronic health records
- 4Oversee orientation and training to retain qualified staff for nursing and assisted living programs staff development
- 5Develop and implement staffing plans and nursing schedules aligned with resident needs workforce planning
- 6Collaborate with the Executive Director and Director of Health Services to build relationships with families, prospects, and care providers stakeholder engagement
- 7Evaluate current and potential residents to determine appropriate levels of care and facility capacity care assessment
- 8Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies quality assurance
- 9Support daily operations and act as Manager on Duty as scheduled operational leadership
- 10Remain informed on restorative or geriatric nursing best practices to continuously improve care delivery clinical excellence
Requirements5
- 1Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse
- 2A minimum of two years’ management or supervisory experience in long-term or acute care is preferred
- 3Restorative or geriatric nursing experience is preferred
- 4Able to relate professionally with residents, families, and employees
- 5Advanced computer skills
