What You'll Do7

  • 1Lead and train maintenance staff during daily operations, setting clear priorities and standards.
  • 2Complete service requests within 24 hours, diagnosing issues with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
  • 3Coordinate make-readies and unit turns, scheduling inspections and ensuring apartments meet move-in standards.
  • 4Manage inventory of parts and tools, ordering supplies and maintaining tool organization.
  • 5Participate in the on-call rotation, responding to after-hours emergencies within 20 minutes.
  • 6Support the Property Manager with capital projects, preventative maintenance, and vendor coordination.
  • 7Enforce safety and cleanliness standards, conducting regular property walks and inspections.

Requirements10

  • 12+ years as a maintenance technician in multifamily housing, required.
  • 2Valid HVAC Certification (EPA 608 or equivalent).
  • 3Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • 4Stable work history with verifiable references.
  • 5Personal set of basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, multimeter).
  • 6Proven ability to coach and lead service technicians.
  • 7Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
  • 8Ability to lift 50 lbs individually and 100 lbs with assistance.
  • 9Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • 10Reside within 20 miles of the property or be willing to relocate.
