Overview
We seek a skilled Vericut CNC Programmer to develop and validate machining programs for precision aerospace components. The ideal candidate will lead optimization efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality parts meeting stringent industry standards.
What You'll Do9
- 1Develop and refine CNC programs for milling lathes and milling centers using Vericut simulation software
- 2Collaborate with design engineers utilizing CAD platforms like SolidWorks and CATIA to translate blueprints into machine code
- 3Optimize machining operations through lean methodologies to reduce waste and improve throughput
- 4Establish and maintain CNC machine calibration protocols ensuring tooling and fixtures meet aerospace tolerances
- 5Perform dimensional verification using precision instruments including CMM and bore gauges
- 6Document all programming activities and process improvements following aerospace quality documentation standards
- 7Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing machining cycles and implementing best practices
- 8Troubleshoot complex machining issues and provide technical guidance to shop floor operators
- 9Maintain comprehensive records of toolpath simulations and final part inspections
Requirements7
- 15+ years experience in CNC programming within aerospace or defense sectors using Vericut simulation
- 23-5 seasons of hands-on experience with titanium and exotic material machining processes
- 35+ years proficiency in CAD/CAM systems including SolidWorks and CATIA
- 42-5 years familiarity with Fanuc controllers and G-code programming standards
- 51+ season working with Vericut for process validation and optimization
- 6Strong understanding of GD&T principles and blueprint interpretation for complex geometries
- 7Proven ability to operate and troubleshoot multi-axis CNC equipment
