CNC Programmer Aerospace Defense | Catia Mastercam

We seek a skilled Vericut CNC Programmer to develop and validate machining programs for precision aerospace components. The ideal candidate will lead optimization efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality parts meeting stringent industry standards.

You will own CNC programming for 3, 4, and 5-axis mills and lathes at a leading aerospace manufacturer. You will take full responsibility for program development and process execution on mission-critical components. You will collaborate with machinists and cross-functional teams to drive quality and throughput. Your work directly supports defense and space programs with high-tolerance, complex geometries. This role demands precision and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

You will write CNC programs for complex aerospace parts on multi-axis machining centers, directly impacting Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. You will join the Manufacturing Engineering team, reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, in a hands-on role that requires 5+ years of CNC programming experience. You will own program libraries and revisions, ensuring NADCAP compliance, and collaborate with shop associates to upload and download programs. This role stands out for its focus on Kaizen continuous improvement and the use of advanced Fanuc/Okuma/Mitsubishi controllers.

You will own multi-axis CNC programming for a Houston manufacturing company, converting 3D models and GD&T drawings into production-ready tool paths. Your work drives cycle time reductions and first-pass yield on tight-tolerance aerospace components. You will collaborate daily with machinists, engineering, and quality to prove out programs and solve machining issues. This role offers direct impact on shop floor efficiency and process documentation in an AS9100 environment.
