Vehicle Inspector, ADESA Carvana - Onsite Inspection & Vehicle Data Capture
Overview
Vehicle Inspector at ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, you will inspect vehicles for condition at scale across locations and upload results. You’ll engage with dealers and consumers professionally as the face of ADESA. You will capture data on mobile devices and deliver timely, accurate inspections with a focus on safety and customer service. What You'll Do10
- 1Build professional relationships with customers and internal teams to resolve inquiries and relay inspection findings
- 2Inspect vehicles for wear, damage, and previous repairs to ensure adherence to program specifications
- 3Capture accurate data and images on mobile devices and upload inspection results
- 4Deliver timely, consistent inspections with minimal errors and maintain productivity
- 5Collaborate with Manager and sales team to identify customer needs and improve service quality
- 6Maintain equipment and tools and report maintenance needs to management
- 7Ensure vehicles are clean and in the same condition as arrival, including radios and other features
- 8Complete road tests if required by contract or inspection type
- 9Stay current on technology updates and tools such as paint meters and OBD scanners
- 10Perform other duties assigned by manager
Requirements10
- 1High School diploma or GED preferred
- 21 year automotive experience preferred
- 3Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver\'s license
- 4Ability to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes and models
- 5Proficiency with computer systems and applications
- 6Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- 7Comfort with data entry on handheld devices
- 8Strong customer service and safety focus
- 9Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- 10Excellent verbal and written communication skills
