Travel Project Engineer, Industrial Mechanical & Construction
Overview
Own planning, coordination, and execution of complex mechanical construction projects across multiple sites. You will support scheduling, budgeting, safety, and quality to keep projects on time and within scope for data centers, semiconductor, and pharma facilities. You will collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients in a fast paced environment.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build project schedules and assist in executing tasks to align with the schedule
- 2Track costs, budgeting, and financial reporting to support project profitability
- 3Maintain and organize contracts, RFIs, change orders, and other project documents
- 4Identify risks and support mitigation efforts across sites
- 5Support quality control and safety compliance on project sites
- 6Communicate updates with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to resolve issues
- 7Monitor material procurement and resource allocation
- 8Prepare reports and assist in monitoring key project metrics
- 9Participate in project closeout and lessons learned reviews
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Construction Management or related field preferred
- 2OSHA 30 certification required or willing to obtain within defined timeframe
- 31–3 years of experience in industrial mechanical construction or project management support
- 4Proficiency in project management software such as Procore Primavera P6 MS Project or similar
- 5Ability to read and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications
- 6Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- 7Excellent written and verbal communication
- 8Highly organized with attention to detail
- 9Commitment to safety and compliance with OSHA and company standards
- 10Frequent travel between project sites with occasional overnight stays
