The Project Manager leads mechanical construction projects delivering safe on schedule and within budget. This role owns pre-construction scheduling finance and stakeholder coordination. What You'll Do25

  • 1Manage the full pre-construction and construction scheduling process including preplanning activities and detailed project timelines
  • 2Review and approve project budgets for labor materials and subcontractors allocating manpower equipment and materials from start to finish
  • 3Negotiate and develop subcontractor contracts with external vendors to secure beneficial agreements
  • 4Oversee project finances profitability cash flow and cost control with accountability for overall job profitability
  • 5Monitor and manage cost to complete aligning with financial targets
  • 6Collaborate with engineers architects and stakeholders to resolve design conflicts determining project specifications
  • 7Lead strategic planning submittal RFI and change order processes
  • 8Implement monthly cost reports and maintain accurate cost projections throughout the project lifecycle
  • 9Research evaluate and recommend construction means methods and timelines to optimize delivery
  • 10Recognize document change orders ensuring proper approval and integration into project plans
  • 11Review and approve payment applications supplier invoices and subcontractor invoices adhering to contract terms
  • 12Enforce health and safety standards addressing issues promptly
  • 13Provide in-depth understanding of construction procedures materials and project management principles guiding decisions

  • 23Coordinate daily with superintendent aligning company resource production with construction activities
  • 24Professionally solicit vendors and suppliers securing competitive pricing and reliable service
  • 25Prepare SWOT analyses for current and future projects supporting strategic planning and risk management

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 2Strong verbal written and interpersonal communication skills

  • 6Aptitude to learn and adapt to new systems and tools

  • 8Mechanical knowledge relevant to mechanical construction projects
  • 9Demonstrated project management experience in construction settings
  • 10Ability to lead and manage subcontractors project engineers assistant project managers and internal support services
  • 11Capability to coordinate CAD fabrication and field labor resources
  • 12Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant field or 10+ years of related experience or equivalent combination
  • 13At least 5 years of experience in mechanical construction leading projects up to $15 million in scope
  • 14Experience in mechanical construction MEP mission-critical data center and commercial construction environments
  • 15Experience in construction management and mechanical systems
  • 16Experience with AutoBid P6 Scheduler and Bluebeam preferred
  • 17Ability to prepare comprehensive SWOT analyses for projects and future opportunities
  • 18Knowledge of health and safety standards ability to enforce safety procedures
  • 19Experience managing project finances profitability cash flow and cost projections
  • 20Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage subcontractor contracts and vendor relationships
  • 21Experience in scheduling logistics and procurement of equipment and materials
