Travel Project Manager, Industrial Mechanical & Construction
Overview
Lead the planning and execution of industrial mechanical projects across multiple sites ensuring on time, on scope, within budget, while upholding safety and quality standards. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and leadership to optimize resources and communication throughout the project lifecycle. This role combines field and office work in dynamic environments.
What You'll Do9
- 1Plan, organize, and oversee all phases of assigned projects to align with client and company objectives
- 2Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans
- 3Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and internal teams to maintain workflow and resolve issues
- 4Identify and mitigate potential project risks proactively
- 5Enforce safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance on all job sites
- 6Monitor progress, performance, and financial metrics to ensure successful delivery
- 7Review and manage project contracts, change orders, and documentation
- 8Maintain consistent communication with clients, engineers, and executive leadership
- 9Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 2OSHA 30 certification required
- 3PMP certification is a plus
- 4Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing projects in industrial mechanical construction
- 5Proficient in project management software (Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar)
- 6Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting
- 7Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical drawings
- 8Work Environment includes office and field on active construction sites
- 9Travel between projects and occasional overnight stays as needed
- 10PPE required on job sites
