Overview

Own patient transport operations within a post acute care setting at Life Care. Lead loading, transport, and unloading of patients to medical appointments and outings with attention to safety, compliance, and customer service. Start part-time with potential growth to full-time, onsite in Phoenix. You’ll collaborate with clinical and operations teams and uphold confidentiality and professional standards.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Drive and Load patients safely and on time for appointments and activities
  • 2Monitor vehicle condition with pre-inspections and routine maintenance
  • 3Exercise independent judgment in scheduling and routing within regulatory guidelines
  • 4Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to support patient rights and safety
  • 5Provide excellent patient service and maintain professionalism and confidentiality
  • 6Evacuate patients during emergencies and communicate effectively with staff
  • 7Maintain accurate documentation and comply with Life Care policies
  • 8Attend mandatory compliance and Code of Conduct training
  • 9Support post-acute care programs and department goals
  • 10Promote a positive, respectful work environment

Requirements10

  • 1High school graduate or equivalent
  • 2Valid driver’s license or CDL with clean driving record
  • 3Prior experience in health care or geriatrics preferred
  • 4Complete pre-inspections and monitor maintenance of vehicles
  • 5Understand and follow applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards
  • 6Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • 7Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, and move intermittently
  • 8Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and adherence to Code of Conduct
  • 9Commitment to confidentiality and compliance training
  • 10Ability to work on site in Phoenix, Arizona
