Overview
The Driver will ensure safe transportation for residents on weekends, supporting activities and appointments across senior living communities. This role operates onsite in Phoenix, AZ on a contract basis. You will join a team focused on safety, compassion, and high-quality service for residents while helping the community run smoothly. What You'll Do6
- 1Drive residents to and from appointments, activities, and community events with a focus on safety and courtesy
- 2Assist residents in and out of vehicles using lifts and assistance devices as needed
- 3Prepare vehicles for operation and coordinate basic vehicle maintenance
- 4Ensure all required license, insurance, and inspection documents are current and properly displayed
- 5Engage with residents during trips to build positive relationships and provide support as needed
- 6Assist with resident programs and special events when required
Requirements9
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2Valid state driver license with CDL if required by state
- 3Passenger endorsement if required by state
- 4At least 3 years of driving history with clean record
- 5At least 1 year driving a passenger vehicle, healthcare or senior living preferred
- 6Experience operating large vehicles or equivalent training
- 7Excellent customer service and professional demeanor
- 8Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- 9Excellent communication and patience when interacting with residents
