What You'll Do10

  • 1Build safe patient movement processes across departments using proper transfer techniques and infection control
  • 2Move patients and equipment efficiently, coordinating with clinical staff to minimize delays
  • 3Distribute items and medications as needed between units following established procedures
  • 4Respond to calls promptly and use computer systems to track requests and statuses
  • 5Collect, clean, and disinfect patient care equipment and reusable items
  • 6Restock supplies and perform light clerical duties in assigned area
  • 7Operate a golf cart to deliver items as needed
  • 8Transport deceased persons to the facility morgue when required
  • 9Deliver timely services with a strong focus on customer service to staff, physicians, patients, family, and visitors
  • 10Maintain awareness of patient condition and communicate changes to clinical staff

Requirements10

  • 1BLS certification required
  • 2Interpersonal skills for direct patient contact
  • 3Ability to interpret verbal and written information and communicate effectively
  • 4Basic computer skills and organizational skills
  • 5Ability to operate in a fast paced environment with minimal direction
  • 6Valid driver’s license may be required by facility
  • 7Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain
  • 8Arizona Criminal History Affidavit to be signed at hire
  • 9High school diploma/GED preferred
  • 10Six months healthcare or customer service experience preferred
