What You'll Do10
- 1Build safe patient movement processes across departments using proper transfer techniques and infection control
- 2Move patients and equipment efficiently, coordinating with clinical staff to minimize delays
- 3Distribute items and medications as needed between units following established procedures
- 4Respond to calls promptly and use computer systems to track requests and statuses
- 5Collect, clean, and disinfect patient care equipment and reusable items
- 6Restock supplies and perform light clerical duties in assigned area
- 7Operate a golf cart to deliver items as needed
- 8Transport deceased persons to the facility morgue when required
- 9Deliver timely services with a strong focus on customer service to staff, physicians, patients, family, and visitors
- 10Maintain awareness of patient condition and communicate changes to clinical staff
Requirements10
- 1BLS certification required
- 2Interpersonal skills for direct patient contact
- 3Ability to interpret verbal and written information and communicate effectively
- 4Basic computer skills and organizational skills
- 5Ability to operate in a fast paced environment with minimal direction
- 6Valid driver’s license may be required by facility
- 7Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain
- 8Arizona Criminal History Affidavit to be signed at hire
- 9High school diploma/GED preferred
- 10Six months healthcare or customer service experience preferred
